By combining cello with beatboxing, he has created a unique genre: classical hip hop. Looped and layered beatboxing beats (vocal percussion) and funky cello form a rich soundscape for intelligent lyrics; CelloJoe spreads joy, laughter and consciousness raising vibrations. CelloJoe's eclectic sound also incorporates the style of old time, jug band, blues and kids's music.

Sam Rogers, The One Mouth Band - lives up to his name by making all the music of a band -- bass, guitar, synthesizers, horns, lip-defying drums/percussion, and more -- using only his mouth, with the precision of a seasoned musician. Sprinkle in some live-looping for certified 100% organic human music, served fresh and funky! Often busy touring internationally, this is his only SF performance for months in either direction.
