We're a growing community that can only get bigger!! With a following of 800+ (through social networking and this opt-in newsletter) we're at a crucial time where further growth requires financial support from people like you!

2010 was an amazing year for Vetted Word! Here are some highlights and accomplishments...
Buddy Wakefield’s The Gentleman Practice Tour was exclusively presented in San Francisco for the first time ever!
Our features in 2010 were nationwide performance artists and authors like Reggie Cabico, as well as community activists such as Josh Healey and many many more!
Our programming has narrowed it's focus to all things Divine, bringing a new and necessary voice to the San Francisco lit scene.
We sponsored the San Francisco Slam Team in 2010.
Jonathan Bender leads our NEW workshop entitled Juicy WordPlay.
With all of these successes in 2010, you can rest assured that we’re excited about all the possibilities for this community in 2011!

With that comes our first fundraising campaign ever! You can be a part of this ambitious community by helping us reach our goal of fundraising $4k by April 15th, 2011!

I know what you’re thinking ~ Where is this money going, Olga/Blythe?!? Here’s a rundown of our goals for 2011 ~

Producing and publishing our very first Vetted Word Anthology
Producing and programming the Vetted Word Radio Show
Presenting Writing Workshops in combination with Performance Workshops
Sponsoring events for organizations such as the San Francisco Slam Team and the like
Presenting our 2nd Anniversary Showcase in May 2011
Visual Art Presentations in combination with our Vetted Word Showcases

Your one-time donation will be rewarded!!

$12 donation = 'Friend of VW' Title and personalized VW Fan Page Status Update!
$25 donation = 'Fighter for the Cause!' Title as well as a personalized poem
$30-$50 donation = 'V(dub) Nation Member' Title and care packet sent to your home directly from Vetted Word!!
