She is a writer, performer, educator and community builder. She is a member of Salt Lines Spoken Word Collective, was the 2009 San Francisco Grand Slam Champion and member of the 2009 San Francisco Slam team who ranked 3rd in the nation. She likes doing great things with amazing people and being moved by art, community and how the two work together.

Our 'Spotlight Poet' for the nigh is David Perez!! When he's not performing spoken word abroad, he teaches youth and adult creative writing workshops and hosts various poetry and performance art events in his home town of San Jose, CA. His first book of poetry "Love in a Time of Robot Apocalypse" is available from Write Bloody Publishing.

The rest of our show is MUSIC!! With Musical Feature Eliza Rickman!! Just returning from recording her second album Rickman joins us for the night!
