Baruch Porras-Hernandez is a performance poet who features regularly all over the Bay Area and on the East Coast. Baruch has had the pleasure of featuring at the Berkeley Poetry Slam, The San Francisco Queer Open Mic, Pace University's Annual Poetry Slam in New York, DC’s BusBoys and Poets, SMACKDAB at Magnet in the Castro, Brainwash OpenMicCafe and The Garage Art Space in San Francisco. He recently had the honor of featuring at CAPTURING FIRE the National Queer Poetry Summit and Slam in D.C., where he performed along side Chris August, Tara Hardy, Andrea Gibson and made it to the finals in the Queer Slam Poetry Competition.
